2.5Honest limitations (truth table)
| What Signals Don't Include | What It Means | What You Add |
|---|---|---|
| No money management | Signals don't include position sizing or risk percentage | You set risk % (0.25–1%) and position size |
| No preset SL/TP for your account/volatility | Generic levels may not match your risk tolerance or broker conditions | You set SL (e.g., swing low or ATR×1) and TP (R-multiple or nearest level) |
| Time lag | Not always possible to place orders right away | Use pending orders/alerts or pass if timing doesn't work |
| No trailing | Signals show static targets, not dynamic management | You manage partial exits/trailing per your plan |
| No news/rollover filter | Signals don't check economic calendar or broker rollover times | You avoid these windows per your routine |
| No spread/slippage check | Execution quality varies by broker and time | You verify execution quality before entries |
2.6Practice: convert today's signal into a 5-line plan (interactive editor)
Pick EURUSD and rewrite 3 scenarios as: what I see → what I do → where SL → where TP
Scenario A
Scenario B
Scenario C
2.7Reminder note (copyable)
A signal is guidance, not a trade. Add your risk %, SL/TP rules, trading windows, and news/rollover filters. If timing/quality aren't right, pass.
